I purchased a TREK Checkpoint ALR 5 in February/2024. Now, at the end of May/2024, I have approximately 1,350 miles on the bike. Eighty percent of the milage is tarmac and the remaining twenty percent is light gravel. On either surface, the bike performance is outstanding. Shifting is smooth. Handling and braking are excellent. Build quality is superb. The bike is light, responsive, and fast. I thoroughly enjoy riding this bike.
