I purchased a used Checkpoint SLR7. Not only did I think the price was reasonable, the fact that the frame had been tested by Trek and came with the same lifetime warranty of a new bike was the key factor in why I bought from Trek instead of Facebook marketplace. I logically know that carbon is extremely tough, but buying used, there's always that bit of doubt regarding what might have happened to the frame that isn't being disclosed. Trek's warranty removed that concern.

My Domaine + HP 7 has been a great bike. I am 78 years old and still go out and do 25 miles at a time four times a week.

I have owned Trek bikes for several decades. In fact, I owned one of the first-generation Trek Mountain Bikes made many years ago. And I still have it, as well as another aluminum frame Trek that still works well, but I wanted a new Trek. So I bought through Trek with ease, my bike shop assembled it quickly, and the process was very smooth. And. I love the new bike! I would recommend Trek bikes to anyone looking for a quality bike that will take any beating you can give it and keep going.

Variety if choices

I'm very pleased to get into a 'nice' bike with upgraded parts in addition to a good frame for a discounted rate that's justifiable for my purpose of upgrading from a Walmart bike for exercise. Will be on the lookout as I grow into the hobby. Being able to ride this nice bike 3x as long in comfort makes me think if I stick with it I might drive to trails and eventually need a MTB if a 2nd set of wheels isn't enough.

The actual products are top notch. I have trek bike, use bontrager shoes and use the trek padded shorts. The people at the stores are really helpful, never had a bad experience.
