When Rob was here to set up my tank and things, he was very thorough and that’s what I like about a person. He made sure that everything was set up perfectly before he left. If it was not set up or leaking or any other matter, he let me know and will be back on a later date to fix it.

The best part of dealing with this company is the fact that you can get corporate prices with personal service from Osterman Propane directly, especially if you deal with them directly in the office.
Lisa Avery, for example, who runs the Pittsfield Osterman office has gone over the top in service, especially when we were about to run out of propane. The personal care that she puts into serving puts a friendly face on what could otherwise be an impersonal corporate experience.

Utterly reliable
we have used Osterman since we move to Pownal 10 or 11 years ago, only once did we have a problem after they filled the tank. We have a bad smell of propane after they filled the tanks, called them and they had someone at the house very quickly. The service man was great, fixed the problem with the vent, checked our home with the detector and made sure we felt comfortable before he left.

I'd like to take a moment to thank my local Osterman / Superior delivery team for service that went above and beyond. I live in a fairly remote location and my driveway is incredibly long and steep and during the wintertime is quite sinister. The ice and snow make it challenging for most vehicles even with plowing and sanding.
During this past snowstorm, I ended up running out of propane and was attempting to keep my house warm using space heaters. I couldn't even get up my driveway in my own 4wd vehicle. Ray Cody and his team went out of their way to make sure I got a delivery and even made sure that I had a 120 gallon tank connected to hold me over while they kept attempting to get the delivery truck up my driveway.
I'd like to mention a few employees by name. Rob tried multiple times over multiple days to find a way up the driveway. He even got out and shoveled my drive with me. Mark and Steve were the ones who got really creative and delivered the temporary tank that they then had to hoist up a second hill that was covered with snow. And finally Paul was able to make the delivery early one morning when the ground was sufficiently frozen solid and sanded. Thanks to all those guys for service that really went above and beyond. I don't think there are a lot of companies out there that would make the efforts that Ray and his team made. I hope that they get recognized for their truly outstanding customer service. I'm definitely an Osterman / Superior customer for life.
