You didn't disappoint. I have never been asked or participated in a conversation that revolved around moving or changing an associated Board of Realtors... So if I haven't in 25 years I don't think I am likely to anytime soon.

Especially for new members, it provides lots of information to guide one in the right direction.
Sentrilock LOCKDOWN IS A JOKE!!! It took 20 minutes of phone calls and approvals to let the seller into his own house. Give me a freaking a break! We wouldn't have a lockbox on the seller's house, if it wasn't for them granting permission.
I totally get not having one day codes for outside agents, and I have referred 3 agents to MORE to come and purchase a card. I even went to bat and argued against a managing broker for Inland, that it would behoove his agent to get a card.
Let's have some common sense.

The education classes and how you jump start the new agens.
I do deals that are sometimes a little different. When I ask how to handle these commercial, business only, land, or FSBO deals I get the standard reply. I am told that I must have disclosures, must use 6.0 contract. I have a high level financial business background and formerly functioned as a business broker. Lawyers draw up contracts. Zoning is sometimes changed in the process. Buyers must do their own due diligence. We have different surveys and EPA issues. I want to run these deals thorough my Realtor agency for the legal protections, but often get frustrated.

Well at first I did not know anything about Mainstreet Organization of Realtors. I took a class with Century 21 and they did not discuss the Board at all. I tried looking up the office on the web for the Tinely Park location but they phone number listed is wrong. It needs to be updated so you do not loose any clients. But now that I have joined I reached out to couple of people and I am starting to learn more about Mainstreet Organization and some of the classes they offer. I am going to try to sign up for as money classes as I can. I want to learn about how to grown my business.
