What our members think of us!
The following comments were submitted by our customers when asked to provide feedback on our service. In the interest of transparency, we present these comments as provided except that personally identifiable information has been hidden unless the reviewer has requested their full name be included with the review. No unfavorable comments have been removed.
All members should be required to have Escrow acct's and use the Sentrilock system.
The fee is too high and it has been increasing every year.
Classes are great. I think you can offer more help in marketing and how to keep our business going in the market
Drop the wokeness, please.
YOU CAN USUALLY REACH SOMEONE BY PHONE.
I'm not disappointed, I just don't need all of the bells and whistles of the service that I have to pay for. Unfortunately, I don't have a choice because in order to have my license in IL, I have to hang my license. I am a wholesaler; you should have a second wrung tier for us. I cannot afford to be dishing out money I don't have for things I don't need and won't use. I'm just getting started, and I've already paid over $2000 between Credits, EOS, Mainstreet initial fees and whatever I just sent you $270 for.
The staff responds quickly, even on the weekends. I also like the products they offer to simplify our businesses, such as Forewarn, SentriLock, and ShowingTime. They are such valuable tools.
Support staff as readily available, friendly and helpful.
Help desk
Great training and education programs.
No disappointment
I have no idea HOW you would do it, but I will constantly and consistently beat the drum for more training and more professionalism in our industry.
Stop trying to recruit more new agents when we do not even properly train the ones already walking around pretending they are social media stars but cannot fill out a contract, write up a listing, or measure a room.
Allowing 18 year olds in just so mommy or daddy can get them started sooner sounds great, until it kills a deal with their (literal) ignorance. People that have never even moved out of their own bedroom should not be put in place to advise people making the largest investment in their lives.
Why is there not a mentor program (or, if there IS, why isn't it promoted like the ombudsman program)? Clearly a lot of office managers are not doing the job, nor are the companies doing training 'right'. 'We' worry more about R-PAC than training.
(Stop giving money to unethical politicians, too. Just because they ask us for money and fill out a questionnaire, that doesn't make them good humans who deserve help.)
Why is Standards and Practices not a mandatory committee for new agents, during their first licensee cycle, as part of renewal? Anybody complaining is basically saying they do not care about ethics and rules, so do they really belong in the industry?
Stop catering so much to top agents and companies, then saying how '95% of the deals are done by 5% of the agents'. Who else CAN do them if the system is essentially an oligarchy feeding the top?
Please, do NOT push fake intelligence as some great 'tool' when people do not understand how to show a home or list one.
We cannot keep saying we are professionals, that we can give guidance and advice when we allow dual agency (which means nobody is getting advice or guidance).
We cannot say we are for fair housing when we allow pocket listings (which logically diminish the potential for the best and highest deal for a client, no matter what low percentage excuse the listing agent comes up with).
We cannot say we have ethics when we allow money to dictate our actions.
These concerns are obviously not solely a 'Mainstreet' issue, but as a leading board in the nation, 'we' should lead MORE on these types of topics.
Should we go to the state and ask they make these things the law? Since IR and NAR definitely hide behind all of the boards being 'voluntary'? Maybe if the state makes it compulsory, we can get out some of the people causing problems (even if they are making money) or make it so we are no longer, as an industry, thoughts of in the same breath as used car sales.
Wouldn't that be nice?
Mainstreet is a valuable ally to Realtors and other real estate professionals, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. What I truly admire about Mainstreet is its inclusive culture, where members feel safe, welcomed, and well-informed amid the ever-evolving changes in our industry.
The organization's commitment to education stands out, offering impactful programs that cater to both new agents seeking guidance and seasoned professionals looking to refine their skills. Additionally, Mainstreet's dedication to supporting various organizations reflects its strong values and commitment to supporting our growth.
The combination of friendly members, reliable resources, and a positive learning environment makes Mainstreet an invaluable resource for anyone in the real estate industry.
Thank you for all you do for us. We really love being part of this wonderful Realtors' Association.
First things that come to my mind:
1. There is always someone knowledgeable and kind available at the phone when I call.
2. There are plenty of classes offered to choose from when I need a CE or just to stay current and aware.
3. Also Mainstreet organizes many social events for it's members, which promotes networking and making connections.
Lower the fees and hire attorneys who aren't super annoying to make Realtors' life miserable. Too many forms that are a mile long to sign for any transaction to be done!
good service. Great fun event in October. Your fees are higher than Fox Valley so you might want to consider not raising them
Always professional and friendly! Thank you!
It's good that Mainstreet sends out emails during the week with some updates on forms, educational opportunities, and real estate events happening around town. Also, it might be great for MRED to expand further into Illinois since people are enjoying exploring more areas!
Easy to follow instructions.....easy to make an online payment...
Super expensive!!
I have seen things in my bill that I don’t even know what they are!!
Response time is always good. Staff is professional and thoughtful
I am still unhappy with all the changes, legislation, and uncertainty that have occurred on NAR watch.
Every thing is good keep up the good work.
Phone wait is not long and the customer support are helpful and professional.
Expensive and hard to navigate website.
Please remove all out of date forms from the website.
You are the best!!
Everyone is always extremely professional and helpful.
Efficient communications

I appreciate the way the association communicates to agents about upcoming changes, and should we have questions we can call to talk someone. I also appreciate the fact that we are able to take our classes through the association.
