The service was great. I needed to get my tire replaced and when I brought in my bike, Marblehead Cycle did the work instantly for me, I waited 15 - 20 minutes and the tire was changed. Great customer service.
I can get products online, but I can't get good advice and technical assistance online. That's why I shop local.

I brought my bike in on Friday the 18th (after calling the shop and asking if I could bring it in) to have the lever shift changed to a grip shift. The young man who looked at the bike said that it would also need new brakes, since the ones on the bike ere part of the lever assembly. No problem. He said he was pretty sure it would be ready on Tuesday. When I called that day to see if it was ready, I was told that the work couldn't be done until July 7! I prepared to pick up the bike and bring it back at the appointed date. Yesterday (Thursday morning) I went to pick it up and--pleasant surprise--it was being worked on. I picked it up later that day. The grip ship and new brakes are great. The shop has always done good work for me, but it seems as if not everyone was on the same page with regard to scheduling.

Even though you were very busy, it was nice to be acknowledged upon entry and attended to in turn.
Quality product and staff was very friendly and helpful to me. I had never had clippless pedals and they spent time with me explaining how they work. Staff also put my clips onto my shoes and explained why and where clips were placed.
The Marblehead location opened a few mins early, answered all my questions patiently and knowledgeably. Salem location likewise very helpful.

I learned how quickly a road-bike’s tire deflates when, while riding along early one morning this week, a drywall screw found its way from its resting place in the road to my rear wheel’s tread and tube! Even during this busy, busy time in the cycling world, Marblehead Cycle’s crew was able to take the time to quickly investigate the potential damage to the wheel itself and, confirming that there was none, replace the rear tube and tire and get me back on the road that morning…
