While I am satisfied with the oil tank filling happening on schedule, communication by telephone is much more diffcult (time consuming & with long wait times, even with a call-back) and "distant," since Downeast was acquired by Suburban+. The person answering the phone isn't even local, in Maine!
Twice by phone (long waits) and once on the website, I tried last month to schedule my usual fall furnace cleaning and inspection. So far, I have had no reply.
It used to be a simple task to call the Downeast office for this, and the person would schedule that visit as we talked on the phone! Now, one calls or writes on the website and hopes for a reply. I will try calling again this week. (Note: scheduling this annual technician visit at a certain time of day is important, since no one is ordinarily at home during the day, and I therefore need to coordinate your visit with a time when I am home and not at the office.)

I like the availability of a service plan and that I can sign up for automatic delivery. Also, when our furnace has gone out, the repairman came promptly. I have had great service whenever I needed to speak on the phone with Downeast. The oil delivery bill is clear and offers a small discount if paid within 10 days. Their website is easy to access for my account. We have been customers for 43 years.

Prompt service. Originally requested fill tank then asked for a gallon total not sure why. I estimated 150 I think it came close to filling tank.
