The score has mostly to do with my previous negative experiences. The SportClips at Memorial in Houston is doing a great job and all the employees seem to take good care of their clients. However the location in Richmond TX is the worst place I've been too. I don't know if they've managed to improve over the last couple of years, but the last time I went there the hairdresser was the absolute worst.
I really like how well the products y'all offer work and smell compared to other name brand products. As far as service goes, I think y'all are the best that I've ever been to, and I will continue to return.
MVP is the way to go!! A nice cut just the way you like it and then the warm face towel and head massage while getting your hair shampooed is so relaxing. Thi (my stylist) is always in such a good mood, has amazing energy, and is very easy to talk to.

Great haircut and friendly stylist
I’ve gotten several haircuts from Sports Clips over the past couple years and have always left happy. However, this past time I visited yesterday, the woman cutting my hair asked if I want the same haircut I’d gotten in the past. As always, I said yes because I don’t change the haircut I get. I have very curly hair and always simply want a scissor trim off the top, and a clean up around the ears and neck with a razor. This woman proceeded to cut my hair down to nearly a buzz cut. I lost all my curls and it is shorter than it has ever been in my life. Absolutely humiliating experience, especially on a week I have 2 job interviews. Even if I did want this haircut it was completely uneven and I had to go to a salon to get it cleaned up. I don’t want to sound dramatic, but getting what I’d consider nearly a buzz cut when I wanted to keep my long curls is a pretty frustrating and humiliating experience. I had been going to Sports Clips for years now, but safe to say you will never get my business again. I will be recommending my family and friends to not go there as well. This is not a jab at Sports Clips necessarily, but the woman who cut my hair single handedly lost my business. I had gotten my haircut by several team members in the past, and they were all great. I’d also appreciate a refund on my haircut if possible, but I understand if this is not possible.

Azu the stylist is amazing. She cut my hair perfectly. She is very professional and courteous and pays attention to every detail. I have been to see her three times and it is a great experience, the cut, shave, shampoo and massage. She is the best!
