cass is the best!
Today I decided to go back to this barbershop that I had visited before at other locations, but when I looked for one close to where I live that was still open at 7:35 pm, this was the closest one.
When I walked in, there was one client being attended by a stylist on the right side, and I thought she was alone because I didn’t see anyone else. I checked in with my phone number and selected the option to be attended by the next available stylist. A few minutes later, a woman wearing glasses with long two-tone braids came to the counter, checked the computer, called me by my name, and in a rude manner told me to sit in the second chair on the left. That was the first red flag that I chose to ignore.
Then she asked how I wanted my haircut, and I showed her two reference photos from my phone. I told her I wanted a haircut that was a mix of both styles, and she said that the styles in the photos were very different. I then said that was fine and chose just one of them.
While she was describing the haircut she would give me, I felt like she was scolding me because of the way she spoke. That was the second red flag.
I still agreed, and she started cutting my hair using only one hand and in a rushed manner, not without first telling me to take off my glasses—without saying “please” and also in a rude way. Third red flag: she wasn’t paying attention to detail and continued being rude.
After about 10 minutes, she told me my haircut was finished. When I put my glasses back on, it was not pleasant to look in the mirror and see the haircut that this person—who, according to the receipt, is named Samantha—gave me. I told her I was not satisfied and that it wasn’t even properly faded. At that point, I couldn’t take it anymore and told her to stop and that I didn’t want her to continue doing anything to my hair.
No one goes to a place to be treated badly. In 50 years, this is the first time I’ve had a haircut done in 10 minutes. If closing time is 8:00 pm and they take a client at 7:35 pm and think they won’t have enough time to do the haircut properly, then they should say to come back another day because there isn’t enough time.
It was very clear to me that Samantha wanted to leave on time to go home, so she gave me a 10-minute haircut and then even bragged that she has 10 years of experience cutting hair.
The point here is not whether the result matched the photo I showed as a reference or whether I expected Samantha to have an angelic voice. The point is to provide good service with respect and professionalism. I repeat: no one—or at least I don’t tolerate being treated badly anywhere, especially when I’m paying for a service.
I invite you to review the cameras and observe Samantha’s attitude toward me, and hopefully even listen to the audio. And maybe you should put up a sign that says: “Open until 8:00 pm, but if you come at 7:35 pm, we will cut your hair in 10 minutes because we have to leave at 8:00 pm.”

This is our second time with Yvonne, and we love her! She is great with providing the services and informing us of the products that she uses so that my son can be on his way to learning how to take care of his hair. We have been to sport clips on numerous occasions as walk ins and everybody has done a great job.
Short wait and excellent cut.
Friendly Staff but, obviously we’re rushing through the cut. Establishment was empty upon my arrival, with 2 staff members on-site. I was quickly seated. Another customer walked in within minutes of me being sat down, It was obvious my stylist began to rush at that point. My stylist missed a very small area on my sideburn, where I asked for a zero fade. Not really a big deal. But for the $35 (Detail Cut) I paid and obviously rushed practice…I genuinely do not see the value provided on that visit.
