I went with my husband and took my son a couple of times. I was sitting there waiting and I was offered hair cut from attendants more than once.
One day I gave it a shot because my hair is the easiest straight hair. Sometimes I just need a trim a little when it is too long, and and layers just up front, just following what already is visible. I had a hair cut with the available attendant Angela. She did it perfect, no big deal.
So, I was in a hurry last Saturday, busy mother life style. I Took my son for his hair cut and decided to have one as well. The attendant was so cold, I should have stepped out right there, but no, I tried to be nice and break the ice. I explained exact what I wanted, to trim 2 to 3 fingers spaces from the back, and follow the already existing layers on the front. The reason she was angry was because she wasn't prepared to take a lady for a hair cut. She made crazy layers on my hair. She didn't show me the back with the mirror. I tried to fix in the shop and it looked nice, a little change. But when I got home I could see better all the wholes ... my God, I need to pay now a professional to fix that, and not only, I need to go from long hair, to a Chanel near my eras to fix that.
Also, she offered the wash, with the massage on the neck that never happened, it was awful. Also they offered to my kid without asking me. He said yes to the other attendant because he couldn't even understand what she offered him, while his mother was just beside.
That was the most uncomfortable experience I had, trying to make the attendant be happy, I was afraid of her, feeling scammed because hoyle towel is for a man with beard... worst experience. I wish I could at least have my $50 back so I can pay someone else to fix it. What I paid for my son's unnecessary hair wash I let it go ... but my money I would like to have it back to fix it.
And to make it very clear, I dont even think it's a 100% the attendants fault. I think I was never supposed to be offered a hair cut. Or the workers should be trained to say: "NO, I DON'T FEEL CONFIDENT TO CUT YOUR HAIR, I JUST DO MEN HAIR.
I just want to forget, never go back, and fix my hair now.
And as a suggestion, train your workers not to offer hair cuts for women, and make sure they can perform hair cuts.
The stylist seem new at her craft. Very basic low level haircut. Not worth $25!!

My stylist, Desiree, has been my stylist for almost a year now. I used to go to her when she worked at another Sports Clips location and when I heard she left I was so disappointed!! Luckily, I was able to find out she had transferred to a nearby location. She is the best, most consistent stylist Ive ever used. She always remembers my name and what I want in a haircut and she never fails to deliver. All stylists should be as consistent as Desiree. Great haircuts, great prices.
The associate that had cut my hair did not do the haircut I had asked. I asked for a low taper, however mid way of the haircut she was discussing with her co worker which caused her to mess up the haircut. She had asked if it was okay for a mid taper. Couldn't say no due to the fact that she had cut a little too much. She didn't cut the hair behind my ears as well.
