Unfortunately the woman who cut my son’s hair did not listen to what we wanted and cut it very short and unevenly. To be honest we have mostly had very positive experiences at sports clips, so I hate to leave this feedback. She was perfectly nice but I just don’t believe she listened closely enough or understood.
Pixie was my stylist and I think she is probably the best I have ever had do my hair. I used to own a beauty supply 30 years ago, so I have been around stylists most of my life. Keep her because she is professional and loves her job. I quit using SportClips because of a bad experience (actually three) but if she is at the Lumberton location, I will return.

My hair stylist was the best! I am horrible with names but she was so nice and did an awesome job on my cut! I have never had a bad haircut experience but I will say the prices are UP there! I am justifying my continuing to go there even at a really high price because I get great cuts and have never received bad customer service.

It’s a scam. They advertise free neck trim between haircuts, but when you try to use it, they charge you five dollars.
Kita is amazing

Last several visits I have felt like it is the stylist mission to get you out of there as quickly as possible. Every aspect of the experience has seemed rushed, almost like just going through the motions. To be fair, I always select first available, and have not found one I would request for a repeat visit. One of my young sons will not even go any longer, I have to take him to a barber. I only go to sport clips out of convenience, and I typically spend more than I would at a barber shop. It is quickly getting to a point where I will not be able to return. Maybe for my youngest son, but honestly for the cost, I should probably get more organized and schedule him appointments for a barber shop now as well. It is truly becoming a poor experience.
