It's a fun experience for the kids to play in a competitive environment, but in a way that the pressure is greatly minimized through the teams and pairings. The program provides for a great learning experience and encourages the kids to support each other. It's affordable and provides for a great opportunity to play some of the area's best golf courses!

My son absolutely loved it--for the second year in a row. He met some great friends, who continue to be his friends. His love of golf substantially developed. The format is fantastic and really contributes to confidence and growth. His Coach was excellent, and his game improved throughout the summer. Let's put it this way: When the summer started his Bar Mitzvah theme was going to be soccer; by the end of the summer, he decided his Bar Mitzvah theme was going to be golf (!), and a solid contributor to that was his time in PGA Jr.
PGA Jr has been an excellent forum for my daughter to work on her golf skills, learn and apply the rules of golf, practice the mental side of the game and have a lot of fun playing golf in a team environment. We are big fans!
Friendly / competitive competition. Enjoy being able to ride along and being able to watch the matches.

That the kids are learning a sport that if they continue can compete their whole life they are learning about sportsmanship and team play
