Consumer Testimonials
It was so fun for my son to be able to play against other kids his age and play at some courses he normally wouldn’t be able to.
Many real field experience
Friendly competition to learn the game.
We love the PGA Jr. coaches at Fox Hills in Plymouth, MI. Coach Will Ellender, Jordan and Victor Whipple have done a great job with the kids.
The coaches made the experience fun and provided good basic instruction on all aspects of the game.
We loved the positive atmosphere of the coaches and the opportunity to learn a new sport.
We liked how it is a team effort and not so individualized. It was fun for both of my boys who are at different skill levels.
The laid back friendly environment the kids learn in, outdoors, awesome location.
It was a great 1st golf league experience for my son. Can't wait to try it again next year.
It is a great experience into competitive golf, our kids both enjoy the format.
It's a educational experience and it prepare kids for real life opportunities
We loved the format of a lesson followed by 9 holes. It really allowed my son to apply the knowledge he was learning. The only difficulty was the changing start times week to week. A more consistent schedule or at least somewhat more consistent week to week would be easier to navigate with transportation when we are two working parents.
We wish you offered a middle school golf team for fall!
We like the lower pressure and team environment that the PGA Jr League offers. It’s a great way to spend an evening as a family supporting our child on the course.
Organized, fun & easy to fit into a summer schedule!!
Great staff!
Great program for kids. Wish it went part the age of 13 though. Gives them lots of time on the course with professionals and other kids.
Great experience and lots of fun
Very fun for my daughter!
Love how it gets kids playing actual golf at an early age!
Very good format for young golfers to experience a bit of competitive golf and also learn skills during practice
I love that it truly is inclusive of all kids. Such a great experience. I do wish there was more interaction between the kids together so they knew more about each other before being paired up
The format is great for kids starting out. They really enjoy the team aspect of it and it takes pressure off the kids.
My kids just love the program and it has really sparked their love of golf.
My Son really enjoyed the PGA jr team this year. We will be back next year.
This was a wonderful experience. First name removed loved playing in the league.
This was our first year doing Jr. PGA and our child loved it.
The only feedback I would give is to include the cart cost in the PGA cost up front. I have had 4 knee surgeries & purchased a cart each time. However, $15 for 4-5 holes each week seemed like a lot of money to be able to watch our child play. I would have preferred to pay a higher cost up front and be able to grab a cart as needed.
Thank you for taking the time to organize & coach these children. It is much appreciated.
My son enjoyed how the program makes it fun for a new player. The game was introduced to him in a fun way, and he’s learned a lot. He is looking forward to another season next year.
A great opportunity for kids of the community that are not members of a country club. The price was great for the amount of quality instruction my son received. They also were able to play top notch courses. I am looking forward to getting my younger kids involved in this program.
We liked that the kids could play in matches and compete against other kids. It was a great experience. We also liked our coach and he did a great job teaching the kids.
PGA Jr. League has definitely fulfilled the mission of “Making the game more accessible.” Coach Stephanie and Coach Bob not only created an environment where kids could obtain amazing Golf instructions; but, the coaches taught the kids key life skills that will transcend them to new heights in Golf and outside of Golf!
