Ability of kids to play with their friends
It was very nice competition with other kids on the golf course. I learned a lot from my coach and from other kids that I played with. As a freshman in high school I was able to gain a spot on the girls varsity golf team thanks in part to Jr PGA.

PGA Jr. League is such a fun way to teach kids golf. Whoever thought of the format is a genius. My kids love golf way more for being a part of it. And access to PGA pros can be difficult for a lot of parents to afford for their kids and the teachers in this program are wonderful.

Everything. Great way to introduce kids to golf in a less pressure situation. Individual sport with a team angle is like high school and college golf. We have a great coach/coaches at Brookwood GC (MI). Uniforms are nice. My son who plays says this, “getting to play all the nice courses in our league and the friends he’s made the past 2 seasons.”

gets kids interested in the game and brings a teams aspect to it. similar to other team sports. kids gravitate towards team things early usually. then they fall in love with the game. Love Jr. league!
