Consumer Testimonials
I registered my grandson for the PGA Jr. League and was extremely impressed with program and the leadership at Island Hills Golf Course in Centerville, MI. Great experience for all the youth involved and they all appeared to have fun while learning play in a structured format. Really appreciate this program being offered and looking forward to next year.

Our family loves the junior PGA hosted at the Country Club Of Detroit. First name removed has really learned a lot!
Organized but fun! It’s a low stress way to introduce your child to organized competition.
Great program for kids to learn golf
My son really likes the teammates and coaches he has. We are in a small town where everyone knows everyone, and he really enjoys it.
My son First name removed has been apart of the program for 3 years now and has enjoyed every single minute. He is associated with Milham Park in Kalamazoo, MI and has received great instructional sessions that have improved his game and confidence. His coach Matt Brooks couldn't be a better role model for any kid that wants to learn to play the game. As you all know golf is as much mental skill (if not more) as it is physical skill. Matt recognizes that in his players and really works with both aspects.
First name removed is already looking forward to next year.
Great experience for our son. Great coaches.
Camaraderie among the players, great coaches who take the time to show the golfers all of the fundamentals in a low pressure environment.
Excellent Coaches who truly care about the kids and are very engaged and generous with their time.
I love that it gives the kids a chance to play against others and at different courses.
Hi, This PGA Jr. league is amazing for kids to join and play to improve his or her skill. My son is very enjoyed this year. I am very appreciating all of their support to Cherry Creek Golf team.
My son learned so much, made new friends, and had a great time!
The opportunity to play against kids from other clubs in a match play setting
Teaches fundamental skills and the rules of golf. Serious competition but designed for all to feel good about their contributions
Great community of teaching teamwork, the older kids were very helpful and supportive of the younger kids. Our kids learned the game and observed strategies and skills of kids who were more experienced:)
Coach Scott Wilson is the best and my son likes the team competition aspect of PGA Jr League and playing with his friends
I love that it’s still a straight up competition, it’s golf , no extra stuff, some teams win, some lose. Fun either way.
scramble format (especially for younger players)
overall scoring/match play in 3rds
relatively relaxed rules (can miss a few swings, adjust/place your ball, etc)
is a fun/easy way for kids to start a challenging sport, I enjoyed it greatly and so did my two boys
thanks!
Great way for kids to play/learn about golf. Make friends, work as a team and enjoy the outside!
Great program. Kids love it too
We have been very happy with this program and the opportunity for children to play at courses they would not have had otherwise. We plan to do it again next year.
It's a great opportunity for younger golfers to practice and get out on a real course and play a scramble. The team aspect is great and it's a wonderful setting for building relationships with other young golfers. This was our second year and we will definitely do it again next year. Jackson and his team at Harbor Shores are fantastic with the kids!
Format and golf knowledge for younger kids
Scramble.
Our head chia has, Scott, had impeccable communication. My son enjoyed the team structure and experience.
The ability to play on a team and the way Jeff treated the people at the Orchards.
The coaches have been excellent and the kids love the competitive format.
Please check the possibility to give out trophies to all the participants. If there is a cost involved , we can pay for it but this will be a great memory to the kids to have a trophy as they work so hard for almost 2 months.
My son really enjoyed learning how to golf this season. He made a lot of new friends and had a lot of fun playing at the different courses.
I loved the fundamentals my son learned while playing. He also really came our of his shell during the league. The coaches were great! At the end of every match the first question they asked was "did you have fun?" My son became so much more confident in his golf game.

The coaches, the great experience, meeting new golfers, watching my kids learn and grow!
