Our son loves golf and there isn't as many opportunities as there are for other sports like baseball and basketball. This is the perfect spot for kids who have little to no experience or the ones that have been golfing for year.

I love the PGA Jr. League for so many reasons. But one of the most important reasons is that it gives my son the confidence that is so important while he is young and in school. This program makes him feel that his self worth is more. I also like the community that it brings, new friendships, having fun with a competitive edge. Overall this program is so wonderful and we hope that it has many more years of influencing kids lives everywhere.

It would be fantastic to have leagues for older youth especially those 14 and older. They are potentially preparing for high school golf and need the experience and practice. Currently, all offered programs end at age 13. I think that there would be a big population of kids that age in Midland, Mi that would be interested in this.
What I liked about the PGA league was how life lessons and sportsmanship were integrated together. I liked the positive atmosphere and the professionalism of all the staff.

The emphasis we saw on the website and reiterated from coaches and promotional material that being a beginner was really okay; the fact that you created 3 teams instead of just 2; allowing my son and his best friend to play together most every week; coach's willingness to offer little extras (cheap range ball practice; extra lessons with the coaches); my son liked feeling like it was a real team (cinch sack, bag tag, uniform);

Learning basics of competitive golf. My 8 yo loved it.
It gives kids from all levels the opportunity to compete in a friendly and supportive environment. I also appreciate that top-performers are rewarded post-season through participation in the All-Star competition.
