Consumer Testimonials
Coach Scott Wilson is the best and my son likes the team competition aspect of PGA Jr League and playing with his friends
I love that it’s still a straight up competition, it’s golf , no extra stuff, some teams win, some lose. Fun either way.
scramble format (especially for younger players)
overall scoring/match play in 3rds
relatively relaxed rules (can miss a few swings, adjust/place your ball, etc)
is a fun/easy way for kids to start a challenging sport, I enjoyed it greatly and so did my two boys
thanks!
Great way for kids to play/learn about golf. Make friends, work as a team and enjoy the outside!
Great program. Kids love it too
We have been very happy with this program and the opportunity for children to play at courses they would not have had otherwise. We plan to do it again next year.
It's a great opportunity for younger golfers to practice and get out on a real course and play a scramble. The team aspect is great and it's a wonderful setting for building relationships with other young golfers. This was our second year and we will definitely do it again next year. Jackson and his team at Harbor Shores are fantastic with the kids!
Format and golf knowledge for younger kids
Scramble.
Our head chia has, Scott, had impeccable communication. My son enjoyed the team structure and experience.
The ability to play on a team and the way Jeff treated the people at the Orchards.
The coaches have been excellent and the kids love the competitive format.
Please check the possibility to give out trophies to all the participants. If there is a cost involved , we can pay for it but this will be a great memory to the kids to have a trophy as they work so hard for almost 2 months.
My son really enjoyed learning how to golf this season. He made a lot of new friends and had a lot of fun playing at the different courses.
I loved the fundamentals my son learned while playing. He also really came our of his shell during the league. The coaches were great! At the end of every match the first question they asked was "did you have fun?" My son became so much more confident in his golf game.
Positives - Team building, experience overall, competitor experience but in a well structured format.
The camaraderie during PGA Jr. League is like nothing I've seen in any other youth sports my daughter plays. PGA Jr League is great for individual development and working together as a team.
This was what you would hope and want any kids first experience of golf as a sport to be. Energetic, competitive, and fun. This was a great experience and we'll certainly be back.
Great experience for kids interested competing in golf as well as those who want to play casually. Good introduction to the rules and sportsmanship
The coaches are great! Love the teamwork. My son gets better every year. He is learning persistence and perseverance.
Loved the coaches! They did an awesome job. Our kid is all about golf now and can’t wait to play every weekend. Thank you for putting together a great program!
Everything!!
Lot of fun. The overall competition.
This is my daughter’s first year doing it and she had a great time. I would recommend splitting up the talent levels little bit more appropriately to keep it Movin for those kids who are in different talent groups. Other than that the coaching and the people were amazing..
My son enjoyed the small practice groups and the games.
THAT ITS ALL ABOUT THE KIDS,AND HOW THEY WORK WITH THEM AND TEACH THEM.
The we can follow the kids around on golf carts while watching them. My son loved that! it made him feel like part of the real PGA tour!
It has been a wonderful opportunity for our children to participate with other players in different age brackets and at different levels. Having access to golf pros to teach them the foundation of golf has been an experience not many children get, and this program has helped our children improve their games and build their confidence on many levels.
The staff/coaches at Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor, Michigan have been wonderful to work with.
We truly love the PGA Jr. League and hope to continue it as our children grow.
The instructions and the ability to also get to practice on the course

Great community of teaching teamwork, the older kids were very helpful and supportive of the younger kids. Our kids learned the game and observed strategies and skills of kids who were more experienced:)
