Byron was ready to help right when we walked in the door! I had already known which bike I wanted from a previous visit to the shop, where I was provided lots of great info on the different types of bikes. This was my first brand new bike where I bought the correct size/fit for me. Byron was super helpful with that, providing me different sizes to ride around outside. I wasn’t aware of what the correct size would feel like and Byron observed me riding the various different sizes and adjusted the bikes for my comfort! It was a very quick and easy process and now I have an amazing new bike that I can ride comfortable and confidently for years to come. I will continue to frequent this shop for all my bike needs. All of the staff is super friendly and were able to help me start my biking journey with a brand new Trek!

I brought my MTB in for service in the fall. The manager saw that my kuat rack was a bit too small for my bike’s wheelbase and asked if I knew kuat now made extenders for that rack and even told me the story of why kuat was making them. Purchased one now to get ready for spring. Happy with how freewheel helped me solve a problem I hadn’t even asked for help with since I thought the solution was going to be a very expensive new rack. I always tell people that ask me anything about bikes to go to Freewheel and they’ll help you out in the best way.

Friendly knowledgeable service

Every time I go into Freewheel I feel very well taken care of. Particularly by the older man at the Penn Ave location. Freewheel shipped, assembled, and tuned up a custom built Cobra for us and the process was so easy. I will absolutely refer any twin city cyclists looking for a cycling shop home to Freewheel.
