The staff was friendly. Anesthesiologist was super quick with giving the epidural. Best hospital food EVER. My concerns were addressed & heard. Quick admission process.

Nursery was not up to date with AAP guidelines (i.e. waiting 24 hours for bath (nursery nurse upset when asked to do this), swaddling with arms out (nursery nurse upset when we refused to fully swaddle - AAP guidelines recommend arms out). FYI I'm a practicing pediatrician therefore I was already up to date with current guidelines however this can be an issue for new parents.
Hearing test done without providing full payment disclosure prior to exam.

They're very professional, they explained everything to me.
I was treated with respect, kindness, and compassion by all staff. Paul, especially, was a wonderful nurse who explained everything as it was happening and why as we worked toward a diagnosis.

Everyone was so helpful and friendly and got us in and out very quickly. All the nurses and doctors we had were excellent and they got my situation figured out quicky and thoroughly. We were so impressed! The admissions desk people were awesome, too!
I mean... BEST HOSPITAL EVER. The staff was incredible, and you can tell there is a great culture here. I'm so glad this is where we had our first baby!

Facility is outstanding
I had a great experience at BSWF getting my port placed so I could start chemotherapy. Summer, in pre-op, was the best nurse! She made me comfy, got my IV on the first stick, explained everything thoroughly, and anticipated my needs before I could even ask.

I did not wait long to see the doctor. All my questions were answered and my regular doctors changed my medication to correct the problem. The doctor and nurse were great too.
