The Y at Sentara West is a great facility, very accessible location, nice staff, excellent choice and variety of equipment and hours of operation very suitable for people that work.
Coach Hope is amazing as always; she's the biggest reason we use the YMCA vs any other local swimming program.

The pool area was clean, and instructor’s we helpful.
Small class sizes and attentive instructors have been so helpful for my son’s swim lessons.
I have special needs teens. They were not treated any differently. Yesterday we went for the second time and my daughter passed the swim test! They love it here and we’re going to be signing up for classes soon. Thank you for welcoming my family regardless of our differences.
