I love the building itself and the fact that it is not crowded! The front desk staff in the mornings are fabulous!
In contrast the staff on the work out floor are (with some exceptions) not friendly, engaging and one young lady is actually asleep at the desk!

I LOVE Silver Sneakers class and all the fun and music that comes with it!! I rarely miss a class!!
I really liked the pool to do laps.
Also, my husband attended the exercise class for Parkinsons disease people and we wish they would start it up again. At the Hampton Ymca.
Some maintenance of weight room equipment is needed and more room is needed for the weights and machines. Way too crowded during busy periods while adjacent exercise rooms are largely vacant. Times when trainers are having group classes using the weights and machines needs to be posted so those who use this area can avoid these times if possible.
Appreciate the postings to not occupy weights and machines while surfing or talking on cell phones or carrying on extended conversations but more tactful enforcement is needed or perhaps ban phones when using weights or machines.
There are places downstairs to socialize, the exercise and weights areas should not serve this activity.

There is always a friendly face to greet you when you walk and a fun table set up with news about what is going on that month. The gym is very clean and bright and cheerful with windows looking out at nature!

The group classes are great! I have attended several different classes , all good!
I can go in and do my workout in peace. This is my time to think and reflect
I love the Senior classes. The instructors are great and provide a good workout. And it is great to get to know other Seniors.

The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The instructors are amazing and the workouts are great! And then there are the other Y members that I have formed such wonderful friendships with!
Love the Victory YMCA pool
I am a Silver Sneaker member, but I have been a member of the Tom & Ann Hunnicutt Family YMCA for many years before I became eligible for Silver Sneakers, and it has always been a positive experience for me. However, now it is not only a positive experience but a needed one. It fills a lot of places in my life that may have been void since I retired. In addition to keeping me physically active with my peers, it's a place where I always meet someone new and connect with people who think like me. I am so grateful for "my Y" and the wonderful staff who make every visit feel like home. Thank You!

Friendly staff and members. Variety of classes and a schedule providing morning and evening options. A couple of the classes I have attended for a while now have a family feel. Especially Christine’s Power Cut class at the Hampton location with instructor and members knowing each others names, offering encouragement, and adding that extra fun to the class.
Equipment in good order, place is neat, inviting and clean, seemingly numerous “trainers” to assist.
Love the pool and friendliness of the staff. Pool schedule though does not match one shown on-line. On-line shows 10:00 - 1:00, but there was a class in pool and schedule was actually 11:00 - 1:00. Thanks
Our YMCA has a helpful, friendly staff who care about us. I’m thankful for the warm water pool, for exercise and therapy!
