It was very interactive and age-appropriate for the kids. we played fun engaging games and sang songs that was easy for the kids to remember. It was great!

the pool was clean and there were very few members in the pool. I enjoyed the hot tub also which is usually crowded. The life guards were friendly.
I really like to play basketball for my Cardio ,I really wish the basketball courts were open 24 hrs as well .
But most importantly the staff is very friendly and helpful also other members I have encountered are also welcoming that is important to me since we have just moved from out of state to the area.

It was great! The experience easy!
My experience at the Mathews YMCA has led me to a better understanding of how our muscles move our bodies and the care we must take to improve the function of them which improves our total health and wellbeing.
Also, very important was balance issues and instruction on how to safely get up after a fall. I find it very difficult to get my uninjured leg out from under my fallen body and safely rise up on this leg. Very hard to pull the knee up far enough up to be able to stand on the uninjured foot. Because of a recent fall, I have learned that I must have a left & right aid to safely get up to a standing position. I now use a 4 wheeled Rollator with seat when I am gardening as a safety net.

Not too crowded, very friendly staff and a nice facility offering a wide variety of exercise equipment. The roof making an indoor pool has been a wonderful addition. And the cost to belong is nominal.
