The Fort Monroe YMCA and the LaSalle branch are great places to work out with wonderful staff and clients. My trainer, Mica with WOW ,has done wonders with me and the other great ladies who attend and I am so much healthier for it. I promote the Y whenever anyone asks about the gyms. Sadly one of my friends was looking for a gym but could not afford the 60 dollars a month. Thank you.
Everyone is friendly. The facility is clean and the equipment is well kept.
Always clean, staff friendly, if something breaks or needs service (I.e., whirlpool or sauna) it is fixed and ready again swiftly. Great communication through the app re delayed openings or cancellations. Wish I lived closer so I could go more often!

The Y provides many opportunities for a healthy body and mind via classes, machines and weights. The best part of the Y experience is the support of trainers, staff and other Y members. It's a community.

One beef though: Please ensure that at least a couple of mats are always kept on the main gym floor. I have to go searching in other rooms way too often, and when classes are in session you can't enter to get a mat.
