Given today’s online prevalence the key to shopping locally is to feel the benefit of a direct relationship with my local bike shop, that is the value you offer not the sale of the goods that can be ordered anywhere online. Well, I chatted with someone the night before I needed to show up and pick up my parts and they said if you order now, we’ll have ready when we open. All was good.
I took the opportunity to go for a big ride with the pick up in the middle. Was there around 11:00.
When I arrived, the staff really wasn’t very enthusiastic. More concerned that I had an email stating the parts were ready. I brought my bike into the store, because you don’t leave a $7500 TREK Checkpoint SL7 in the street. Not even, “a nice bike”. TREK dealer...right? Should be excited.
Anyway, glad you had the parts I needed. :)
