The service tech was able to confidently assess the condition of the Raleigh bike I brought in and give me an estimate of cost and timeframe--both very reasonable. Within that timeframe, I received an email communication asking me to call about an update to the estimate. The person with whom I spoke explained that I would need a new front tire in addition to the new tube because permanent damage had been done by the previous owner (patching that caused a tear) that was not immediately obvious at intake. He offered two price points and explained the difference. I opted for the more frugal one. For $150 and no hassle, Scheller's helped me revive and make a smooth ride out of a good piece of equipment that had been neglected.

I bought my bike at Scheller's in 2010 it's been a great bike and their service is always good and quick and I really haven't had to service it I just had it serviced Thursday May 3, and got it back Wednesday May 7 plus I had to get some new gears and some other parts but they got it back to me in 5 days great service and great people very good for small business. I came in there to have my bike looked at. The pedal had fallen off. I wanted just a quick fix for the bike. The bike mechanic told me that my pedal was stripped and not able to be repaired and I needed $178.worth of repairs. I picked up my bike because I didn’t think it was really worth it. I took it to another bike shop in Berea my mechanic there said it just needs to screw and put it in. He charged me nothing I gave him a $10 tip for helping.

I called in with some questions and person who answered very nice and helpful and I brought my bike in the same day for its annual tuneup. Also purchased a new speedometer when I dropped off and that person very nice and helpful. Ready later that day and I think the man who checked me out might have been the same one I talked to on the phone. Very nice and helpful.

Very knowledgeable staff. I felt they were happy that I was happy. Kept their word on notifying me when the bike I chose arrived in Evansville from the Louisville store and honored the price of bike. Inspected the bike and thoroughly walked me through all the functions of the bike. Assisted my husband with his bike purchase, as well. We chose a local bike store to ensure we would have access to maintenance and repair services.
Good approach to the customer and getting requirements and issues, then they will explain what to do and how much time it takes.
