Sunday was my first time in a bike shop, (the only shop in Tulsa open on Sunday) I came in for a flat repair kit and ended up with 2 new tires and tubes and a tune up! I learned a lot, hung out for about an hour and had a good time which was completely unexpected! Also, the bike is in much better shape than it was when I brought it in, all thanks to Jesse!

I recently purchased an older Trek 1200SL and have been shopping around to start fixing it up. I had found some bar tape on Amazon that I was thinking on buying but decided to stop into Phat Tire. I was honestly expecting Amazon to be cheaper. I was delighted when I found Phat Tire had name brand bar tape for less than the off-brand bar tape I was originally looking at on-line. An employee had also greeted me and showed me where the tape was located in a friendly manner. I didn’t feel pushed or looked over during my time in the store.
I also needed to buy some valve stem caps since they were missing on my bike. The gentleman who helped me gave me 2 plus an extra all for free. This small gesture left a big impression on me. I will be looking to buy new tires soon and eventually a new groupset. I will definitely be back at Phat Tire to make these purchases. If I reach the point I’m ready to upgrade to a brand new Trek, I’ll also be back at this location. It’s an easy decision to keep your dollars local when you have superb shopping experiences like the one I had. Thanks!

Phat Tire did not have the tires I needed at the downtown Tulsa but quickly located the tires I needed at the Tulsa south side location.
The workers will go the extra mile to keep my bike going an extra 1,000 miles. They don't oversell, nor do they miss anything.

Staff is amazing. We came in to rent e bikes as a test run as we consider transitioning to commuting by bike. The staff was so enthusiastic about the lifestyle and had a bunch of tips beyond day to day bike use, and was quick to note we could put the price of rentals towards the purchase of a new bike. They gave us a heads up on bikes not yet released we should keep an eye out for. Feels like they love bikes because they love people too, the enthusiasm is infectious. Much love to Phat Tire.

I am a bmx collector and restoration geek. I found a bike i wanted for my collection near your Springdale location. The seller was a “no shipping, pickup only” listing. I contacted phat tire and worked with Danny Williams to get my purchase packed up and shipped across the country. I have been blown away with the level of communication and shared excitement for this project. I feel Danny went above and beyond to make sure my rare 87’ BMX bike was handled properly.
