I live over an hour away , but have been coming to this shop for over twenty years. Service is over the top as a standard operating practice. Upon bringing my bike in Chuck immediately checked my bike in with the repair request. He later phoned 30 minutes later and provided two different repair options. The bike was waiting to be picked up when I returned that afternoon. In my professional opinion Chuck is the best head mechanic that Outspokin Bicycling has had.

The following comments are with regard to the Irmo store where I shop. We own two Trek hybrid bicycles that we use extensively; purchased in May 2017.
I like to shop for a bicycle with no sales pressure -- sales person will answer questions if I have any otherwise I can browse and shop in peace.
Also, the Service Department is great. Very honest regarding what needs to be done, what's not necessary, etc. Timing of completing service, usually several days after dropping off the bike to be serviced, is reasonable.
Help when I need a replacement part when fixing something myself is great. I am always able to get the parts I need from the store; never a need to wait, etc.
My wife and I shop / support local small businesses in the midlands area. Outspokin is one of those businesses we support.
Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Made buying a bicycle from out of state for my son at the University of South Carolina a breeze!
