I've been using shops in the Bicycle Habitat chain literally for decades, and always have a great experience with them. For mechanical work everything is always done quickly and to an excellent standard.

The staff at the Vanderbilt location were so very helpful! Chad was the main person that helped me, but a couple of his colleagues also helped too. I was very impressed by Chad's calm helpful demeanor with zero arrogance! I'd definitely go back.

Number and quality of offerings and ease of purchase
The service at the repair shop was fantastic. The gentleman presented options and pricing in an upfront manner as we negotiated a fix for my bike's problem. The retail store comes with a little bit too much pretentiousness in my experiences. I think the staff might benefit from taking an entry level improv class to better meet people where they're at, rather than overwhelm them with a sense of superiority and bike knowledge. Very cringey as the kids say.
