This review is for their carpet cleaning service only. It was about 5-10 years since our last carpet cleaning--in the busyness of life events, just never got around to it although we did vacuum fairly regularly. We also require shoes to be removed in our house. Recently retired, started to address long neglected household maintenance. I have no pets, but our cream/off white carpet had multiple stains. The carpet is about medium thickness. My wife wanted something environmentally friendly so gave me their ad (from the mail). I researched the other methods as well and read reviews online. I didn't get the sense that any method was better than the other. Due to my neglect and age of carpet (27 years), I wasn't expecting all the stains to come out but if the service got more than 90% out, I felt it would be worth keeping our carpet rather than replacing it. The website has a lot of information to investigate and research what they do, what to expect, and how to prepare for the cleaning. I was able to make the appointment online and their schedule had enough availability that I could have scheduled the cleaning the same week, but chose a date about two weeks out--it takes time to remove furniture, tables, vacuum the carpet space you want cleaned (removing your furniture is an option; the vacuuming prior is necessary). I had three rooms cleaned (their website has definition of what they consider one room based on area square footage) + stairs-it was a package on their website. I did get the protectant as well. Their website kicked out an estimate and it matched what I paid. There is a two hour window for scheduling. The technician came at the beginning of that two hour window (I signed up for the first two hour block). He was prompt, courteous, and welcomed questions. He confirmed the service I ordered and went to work. He ran hoses from his van so your front door must be kept open during the entire service (it was a cold day so perhaps doing it during the warmer months may be more ideal). He started with the room furthest away from the van and then worked toward the front door. After the entire service is complete, he asked me to inspect his work. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the results. All the stains were out (if I had to put a # on it, I'd say 95-99% of all stains/discolorations were removed). I didn't have any areas that needed recleaning or re-treatment. After my approval with the work, he applied the protectant. I was instructed to minimize walking on the cleaned areas. It would take about 8 hours to fully dry. We were given plastic booties to use if we needed to walk on the cleaned areas during the drying period. The weather was about 40s to 60s the days after the service. 8 hours after the service, the carpet surface felt dry, but still felt slightly damp on deep probing. It took 3 days to satisfy me that it was completely dry. Overall, the service exceeded my expectations. I took about 2.5 hours. My only critique would be that the technician cleaned the top step. So, there is a small 1 x 4 foot rectangle of clean carpet contrasted with my unclean carpet on the 2nd floor. It's a minor thing to me as I am planning to get the 2nd floor cleaned, but it would probably have been better to clean up to the step just below the top one.

One of the rooms Maurice cleaned, I had given up ever having it as clean as I had hoped....prior companies could not remove some of the stains.....Maurice provided different results! If I didn't know better, I could have thought it was brand new carpet! Wish I had taken pictures of "before" and "after!" My husband was shocked at how clean it turned out!
It was 2 years ago that I had my carpets clean, so if it weren't for a few "obvious" spots, I coiuld have waited another year....of course, Zerorex can be credited for that time as well!
I hope I can have Maurice return when I decide to do have my tile cleaned...now, that is a real challenge, because the grout is almost impossible to clean with all the tile cleaners I have tried!

My carpet looks brand new after not cleaning it for many years. I am amazed at the difference of how clean it looks. Whatever is in your water WORKS.

We have very light beige carpet. Although the process does clean, it does not remove all the discoloration from soiled areas as well as expected. The technician (Jeremy) was very professional, polite, and thorough. I have used my home carpet cleaning machine that does the same job. I thought Zerorez would be a better option. I could purchase 2 machines for the cost of the cleaning (over $400).
