The ease of getting there and the hours are convenient. The only negative is the mold on the soap dispensers and curtains in the ladies swim locker room. Other than that all is good and I am happy I joined.

The West Chester area Y changes my out look on the world. I noticed that the West Chester Y is much more connected to it members than most other Y's. It makes me feel good when they befriend someone who is in need of some friendship. The entire staff, starting from the "TOP" and working its way down, are connected to its members and their needs.

What do you like about your membership?

There is so much to do at the Y. If you like to swim, there are quite a few classes you can take or just enjoy the community pool. There is also the outdoor pool in the summer. I plan to enjoy more of the Y when I retire such as the exercise classes, indoor track, relaxation classes, Bingo, etc. The Brandywine Y is friendly and clean and a great place. I enjoy it!!

I like the mix of classes, equipment, and pool availability. So far, the icing on the cake is the staff, they have been what makes me keep coming back. They are so friendly and helpful, truly concerned with helping me get into shape and be healthy. They're great!
