I have walked there several times lately and things seem to be more under control than in the past. No kids were running amok with no supervision. However, it would be nice to see employees on the floor walking around. I saw none at all! I’m hoping this will continue to be run well. I really liked going to the Parkville Y. I saw no problems at all there and felt safer and more comfortable than I had at the NKC Y. Also want to thank the front desk employees at the NKC Y. They give a cheery greeting. This didn’t happen in the past. This is a welcome change. I hope the NKC Y will will continue to strive for improvement!

Awesome staff! Super friendly when I signed up and very welcoming. Met some great people here while working out and welcoming atmosphere.
It’s a bit crowded in the weight room but you have to deal with what you have. The coffee in the morning is a plus.

There are not extra charges for different classes and its very friendly.
There are many types of exercises that can be completed due to the array of equipment, a nice indoor track, workout rooms, aerobics and pool. The staff is friendly. There are activities for both young and old.
