Love the NKC YMCA! The employees are all friendly and the facility is very community centered. There are so many things to do outside getting your workout and pool visit in. I appreciate the neighborhood feeling and that it clearly has something for everyone.

In 2022 my yearly physical wasn't so good. 20 lbs over weight, my liver enzymes were off the charts due to eating whatever I wanted. So my Doctor told me to start walking daily. Well I won't walk in the extreme heat or cold, so back to the NKC YMCA I went. I have lost 16 pounds since Dec 2022, & MY blood work right where my Doctor wants it. He is so over joyed that I reached my goals. I HAVE TO THANK THE YMCA & ALL MY INSTUCTORS FOR MAKING THESE GOALS. I LOVE ALL THE INSTRUCTORS & STAFF @ THE NKC YMCA, SOUTH PLATTE YMCA. THE INSTRUCTORS ARE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE, & SO CARING ABOUT ALL THEIR STUDENTS. YES I RECOMMEND THE YMCA TO ANYONE THAT CARES ABOUT THEIR MENTAL & PHYSICAL HEALTH.
Pool is great and everything is clean.
