Pool and customer service
I like everything about the NKC "Y". I have been a member of the "Y" for a year, and I work out - usually daily.
For me it works. and it encourages me to continue with exercising. It's been a priority, and I intend to keep this in my life.

I like it but bad thing is not open longer hours
Good to receive greeting every morning..an the y does it. When I am greeted in morn it is very personal because they use my name. So they know who I am.
Only thing that I am not told is when there is no hot water. This has happened 3 or 4 times in last 3 weeks. Brrr.

I LOVE that you have coffee in the morning. That is seriously a big reason why I drive to the NKC Y. I love that you have dance classes. People are friendly and diverse. Coffee Coffee Coffeeeeeeeee!!! Food Pantry is awesome too!
The YMCA has activities for my entire family. I love that our membership travels with us. Each center I've encountered has a friendly and helpful staff.

I really like early in morning, when we come everyday, the girls at the front desk. Debbie and Sherry are always very welcoming and pleasant. They are very helpful! On Saturday morning, since Tang has been there, it is always open on time. We really appreciate him doing that! Now, one of the things I wish they would improve on is when machines break down, getting them fixed quicker. That would be GREAT! I wish they would replace the pads on the machines more regularly. Sometimes, it really hurts when working out on a ripped-up pad.
Convenient location, swim available, teen center, rock climbing wall, I love that there is something for all ages.
The staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. They are always happy and pleasant early in the morning. The gym is clean and so are the restroom/changing areas and showers. I like the feeling that no one is judging you!
