Great environment and wonderful staff. Felt welcomed into a non judgmental environment from day one. Great place for recreation and working out. Overall one of the best recreational facilities I’ve been to.

It's a good faculty, but special treatment is given to low income people over paying members. Like, having special hours on the pool. The pool is closed to paying members between 1 and 3, during COVID and still remains in effect in all Kansas City YMCAs.
I also use the Y in Platte City and can't use the pool between 1 and 3 for no good reason. Why is this still operating under COVID hours?

Friendly people. A variety of activities to choose from. Easy access to bldg.
My one suggestion for improvement is: the parking lot needs attention. Resurfaced, and if nothing else, the strips need to be repainted.
The general atmosphere. Not too crowded and not too intense. Making friends every week.

Nice facility with great walking area. Classes both at YMCA & on line.
Playing pickleball three times per week.
