Atmosphere and professional
Everyone at every customer touch point was very positive and very capable at their job. This is becoming rare these days. I arrived early and was seen early. Imagine that!? Sometimes the Doctor is great, but their support staff is not so great. Other times the support staff is great and the Doctor not so much. My experience was that both Dr. Kaplan and everyone I interacted with was great. Thank you so much for making my visit a very positive experience. I know that's not easy with all the stresses and challenges the staff and Doctor have with the seemingly unending patient needs.

Everything … beginning with making the appointment, front desk checkin, the staff settling me into a room and Dr. Picerno’s professional, yet friendly, attention to my hip issue.
Dr. C and staff are extremely compassionate and thorough in (in my case) what was broken, details of surgery, pain management, recovery and timeframe of healing, treatment plan and physical therapy.
Physical therapy was wonderful. I had a severe break (pin, plate, screws) and I have healed at a wonderful rate and have not suffered pain other than what I was told to expect after surgery. It’s a long process of recovery but they are a support system every (literal) step of the way.

Dr. Kitay is a gentle, professional, and very good orthopedic surgeon. The staff at JOI are caring and attentive. My surgery went well, thanks to all the staff working as a cohesive team. Dr. Kitay also followed up with a personal call once I was home from surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr Kitay and JOI.
