We appreciate the friendly staff, enjoy the roomy recliner seats, variety of drinks, snacks and food options available at the various locations we visit.
The seats are big and comfortable, the recliner option is wonderful. I did think the volume was a tad bit too loud. I love reserving my seat online. I appreciated the $5 Tuesday promotion to provide an affordable option.

Best movie theater in the city!
We love going to Amstar in Oxford Alabama. It's never crowded, always a wonderful experience. The pricing for the popcorn and drinks are kinda excessive but we just wait until after we leave to eat or drink. However on May 26th we went to see the Stitch movie. Reserved tickets online. We were made to wait 25 minutes for the theater to be cleaned prior to our entry. This is perfectly fine, however after waiting the 25 minutes, we entered the theater to find popcorn and chips and candy all in our seats and cup holders and all across the floor. Didn't appear that anyone had cleaned anything despite us being made to wait for cleaning. We don't mind waiting for cleaning as long as the cleaning is actually being done.
Military discount
Tuesday movies $5,99 along with large drink and large popcorn. The food is good. Theatre is always clean and so are the restrooms. I love the recliner seats.
