What was the biggest reason for giving us this score?

We were originally informed Upon set up there would not be a problem getting care for my mom and they would even try to gear a personality to match my mom. This was not the case first 3 weeks were a struggle even getting someone to help or get booked, never mind help that was suited to my mom. The ability to fill the weekly hours of twice a week for 3 hours was not filled. There were constant cancellations and different days were only available. Was very difficult for us when we geared our request to the information we originally received by coordinators.

What was the biggest reason for giving us this score?

My family was very happy with the care that some of your staff provided for my Dad. Even though we had a couple bumps in the road Bernadette and Carlito showed so much compassion and provided wonderful care for my Dad during this very difficult time.

He was a proud man and the dignity and respect they both gave did not go unnoticed. If we Could have all our providers bring that attention to all the patients in the world, it would be a much better place.

Bernadette was such a comfort to my mom and it gave me piece knowing she was there and that she was going above and beyond. She really looked after them both.

What was the biggest reason for giving us this score?

Nurse Next Door was able to provide care on very short notice. The Nurse Next Door nurse (Sammi) was professional and caring, both towards the patient (my husband) and towards the rest of our family. She provided overnight care while my husband was on palliative care. Being able to relax and get a good night's sleep made an extremely difficult situation a bit easier to deal with. I also appreciated that I was able to cancel future care on short notice when my husband passed away.

The quality of the caregivers has been excellent. Dealing with the administrators like Amber and Dianne has also been easy and they’ve been very helpful.

We truly love the nurse, Megan, very professional and kind. Very helpful, friendly. Assists with anything that needs to be done. It’s been a great experience so far.. An awesome service.

It would depend on the level of care needed. They are excellent for giving home care as a ongoing care package. Some help were not really well versed on Palliative Care. Palliative Care is quite different from day to day home care.

Because my nurse was annoying and did not wear a mask nor gloves and did not wash her hands. And the nurse next door was annoying and would call me 3 times a day for unnecessary crap.

My Aunt really enjoys Aster's visits, and having Aster come in weekly gives me the peace of mind knowing that she is doing ok. Especially because I live in another province.
