Quality material

Easy order process overall. The website is a little glitchy. I could not check out a few times and was getting errors with my mobile Apple Pay.

I prefer a bike shop that recognizes the demands I place on my bikes and works hard to address my needs. Being an avid cyclist and riding several times a week I dont want my ride to be down for days. Holmes Cycling in Camp Hill PA always exceeds my expectations and almost always has be back on the bike in a day, two at most.

I rode my first Madone for 12 years due to routine maintenance and addressing issues recommended by the mechanics. Therefore instead of looking elsewhere I stayed with Trek, why change what is already working and proven. And I still have the first one as a back up.

I like the service and people who work there. They are always ready to help in any way. If they don’t have what I need in stock, they will order it without any hesitation. Ryan is always so helpful. We are sad that Luke was transferred. He was excellent!

Website has all the info needed to make an informed decision. Shipping was extremely fast. I received my bike much quicker than anticipated and the store had it assembled and ready to go the same day! This is my second Trek but my first trek bikes.com purchase. I had a great experience and would use the online purchasing system again!

The knowledge of the sales people

I honestly wasn't going to go this direction. I went to my local shop (Ray's Cycle, Vacaville, CA) first to see their inventory and get sizing advice. They suggested ordering through the website since they were not going to be submitting an order in the near future. The downside to online is pricing. I paid about 15% more than I would have at the shop. The upside is that we received the bike sooner going through the Trek website.

The mechanics were able to determine what was wrong with my brakes after another shop “fixed” (not fixed) them bike was ready when promised.

I had a great shopping experience when I picked up my bike. I have been working n plenty of bike stores, and I often dread going in them because of the arrogance of a lot of people in these bike stores. Phat Tire was not arrogant at all. They were very helpful, mannerly, and professional. I would buy from them again.

The tech that set up my bike was also great.

I took the bike out, and it functioned great. I have to get a seat pad. Why can't a comfortable seat come with these bikes?
