I have a wonderful experience. The Y is extremely clean and well maintained, it’s huge. It’s also loaded with equipment, free weights, machines, and a pool. It’s a great location. The staff is super friendly. My Program was LIVESTRONG. We had some awesome instructors, Caroline, BILL, and Linda. The group of survivors that I shared this experience with were awesome. I hated to see the 12 weeks come to an end. They are like family now. I will maintain my NW CARY Y membership. It is well worth it.
I am upset that 3 classes, 2 yoga and one thrive were cancelled. When you cut employee hours, you only did Mike and Charlie.
Two things I really don’t like.
I highly recommend the YMCA because they offer a wide variety of classes throughout the entire day for all ages and fitness levels. Their flexible schedule makes it easy to find classes that fit different lifestyles and work hours. From fitness and wellness programs to swimming, yoga, strength training, and family activities, the YMCA creates a welcoming environment where everyone can stay active, healthy, and connected to the community.

The staff at the reception/checkin desk are great! Very kind and helpful. Sharing lots of great information about the facility, classes and exercise options. Great place.
Today was my second day, and I love the environment a lot of community, motivation and inspiration staff is always great help.

I take group exercise classes at Northwest Cary YMCA, mostly with Emily C. She's been a great instructor. I've also taken classes with Susan K and Romain and they've been good as well. The YMCA is almost always kept clean and is well maintained.
The facility is enormous, lobby is great for several members to get work done.

The instructors particularly Romain for Pilates and Courtney for yoga. Wish you’d add more yoga classes with Courtney! Also wish you’d have more water aerobics programs that didn’t have to be super early in the morning. But I do love the Y and enjoy it very much.
The community feeling
The YMCA doesn’t feel like a gym,
It’s a community. Everyone I have been in contact with from the front desk, to class teachers are professional, kind and truly want everyone to be healthy and feel healthy. It’s a great no-pressure environment.
