Convenient
I love the staff at Lakewood. Also Nancy Sawaya is the best instructor I ever had. I love that I have been able to take classes with her for 20 years.
Lakewood is a friendly and wonderful community
Clean, well-kept facilities. Easy to navigate court and equipment rentals. Big fan of the sauna/steam room and they have done a good job keeping those items operational
Great location, excellent excellent staff, friendly and professional. Not to mention the members Are super friendly. The showers, sauna and steamroom are for always clean and Working
That it has in door and out door options. I just discovered the track in the back.. I like that you all added another barre class. I’m trying to get one one more added to the evenings at the downtown Durham or American tobacco location.
Great environment. Love the steam room.

Brianna is a great yoga instructor!
The sauna and steam room are always working unlike the downtown location.
Friendly staff, good equipment
I like the convenience and the employees. Nice neighborhood feel. Please do what you can to manage costs - I am retired and I believe membership cost rose 7%
Very friendly & inclusive atmosphere. Ellie's strength training class (Lean & Cut) is great. Good fans in the group exercise room, women's locker room is comfortable & spacious, lots of good fitness equipment. And it's fun to see young kids playing ping pong while all of the other stuff is going on.
I have only one class there these days but besides the room which is difficult to temp control and the fans whir. I have always liked Lakewood.
I don’t think the front desk is really checking memberships anymore, there are a lot of people in Monday nights yoga and either we should stop signing up since it seems pointless or someone should check that you signed up.
A new member told me that she never was told about the app, that seems well, not very effective
Thanks for so many opportunities at so many Y’s in the triangle

The private space in the women's locker room to workout.
What I enjoy about Lakewood, it has a community feel. Everyone seems friendly. I feel comfortable there, even though it is small there are plenty equipment to work with. The person behind the desk is friendly and helpful.

1. Lakewood is very spacious with all the equipment I could possibly want. 2. I also take classes there. Mornings are my preference, and pilates, the cardio class and barre provide a good rotation for me. 3. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. 4. Parking is not a problem for me.
I love the mix of humans and the activities offered and the friendly staff.
good
Clean facilities. Lots of options (weights, machines, racquetball, etc)
I love my classes at the Y. All of the teachers are professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind. The community and staff are also great.
I do much prefer when classes end at the appointed time, rather than running over.
I love how it feels like a part of the neighborhood. I love the sauna and steam room. I love how clean it is all of the time. The staff is welcoming and always willing to answer questions.
Reception is friendly and the locker room is nice.
