Very welcoming staff, great location, great locker room facilities. The man at the front desk was incredibly accommodating with all of my questions and made me want to return
I love the steam room!
The women's locker room has plenty of space. At certain times of day, the gym is not very crowded, making for an efficient workout.
I enjoy going to yoga classes at the facility and then sauna. Love it!
I love the racquetball and I really really like the front desk they are energized and eager to help! I love the vibe that it has as it is very homie!!
My son really enjoyed sports camp. He always had a great day!
Nice staff. Good music. Spacious weight room. Good members.
Facilities in good shape. Convenient hours. Good mix of both classes and individual exercising areas.
It is just the right size and is hardly ever overcrowded, meaning, as in one rarely ever has to wait on machines. The exercise room is the best of all the other Durham Y campuses. They have THREE ping pong tables and two racquet ball courts, both of which are activities which foster social interaction. I miss the pool, but such is life!
My son came home tired from activities every day. He was always excited to tell me what he did at camp that day. He made friends and felt safe with his counselors!
Good gym, good locker room.
Keeping my son active with fun sports & activities
Kind people, great facilities, and convenience of location
The employees are very friendly. The workout equipment is great!
Excellent facilities; never too crowded. Very kind staff.
Beautiful gym lovely staff
My son likes the activities and the camp counselors. This is the first camp this summer he hasn't complained or spoken of a negative experience at camp.
I like the open space. The convenience of moving about freely from one station to another.
The cleanliness of the facility, locker room, sauna, steam room.
My child has the greatest time there. The different sports/activities keeps the campers active and engaging. The lessons he's learning and the experiences he's having are simply amazing. The camp is affordable and the hours are great.
Love the yoga class with Sam
Friendly atmosphere
All is great except...PLEASE extend the Lakewood hours to 6:00 closing on Sunday's just like it was pre-Covid. And bring back the large towels like all the Y's in Raleigh and Cary have done.
Thank you.
All the employees were very friendly and attentive, and the steam room was excellent.
Warm greetings
Helpful with issues
Good climate to workout
Not “too” crowded
I do recommend the YMCA to parents. I love the flexibility of going to multiple ymca’s. I do with there was childcare for older ages. I definitely use the facilities for myself and my child. We love the outdoor pools and soccer.
Always clean, good customer service. Steam and sauna are A1
Good atmosphere
My daughter loves the staff, the sports and the relationships she has made along the way.. it's a beautiful thing to watch her grow.. so thank u and good day to u all...
Nice people great classes
I love the classes and huge selection and sites offered by the ymca in the triangle. I go to one class or another almost every day. My only criticism is the pool at Hope Valley is not available to members after Labor Day and it seems that the ymca should be able to employ a lifeguard to extend those dates. Please consider.
