We love YMCA after school. The staff is friendly, responsible, and great with kids. My kids run around a lot, which I love, and I feel very well-informed about what goes on there.

Enjoy visits especially the greeting by the kind and smiling attendants. Appreciate the workout room with the variety of machines also the in person classes available. All is positive with one exception....
The women's locker room - toilets waste a humongous amount of water - they regularly just flush for no reason - and not flush at times after use; they were supposedly upgraded to automatic but this appears to not be the case. This complaint has been lodged time and time again to no avail. A real problem considering the water waste.
The facilities are good and the genuine focus on positive community values and positive community action is excellent

The pool and aqua classes. More at night please! Instructors are great, employees are kind and friendly and seem truly happy to be there.
It’s friendly. I attend a few yoga & exercise classes I like. In the summer I like to use the outdoor pool.

EVERYTHING! I've attended several YMCA's while living in NC, and before while living in California. None compare to the Chapel Hill-Carrboro YMCA for great class options, instructors, staff, coziness (the Y's just the right size~not too big, nor too small). It's like working out from home. The instructors are hands down THE BEST I've yet experienced in any Y (or gym for that matter) anywhere! Can't say enough good stuff about this amazing facility, and it's equally amazing faculty and staff.

Love Sara's dance class Thursday night (would be great to have her teach more!) and Joan's classes.
Access to the pool for lap swimming and aqua Zumba are also important for me.

Our son enjoys going and has built a connection with the staff. He always has a fun story to tell about after school care. Thank you for taking such good care of him!
The staff is very responsive to the needs of individual kids and seem to be really rooting for them to be successful and creating an environment that supports their success and allows them to learn and grow.
The staff at the HES YMCA after school are incredible. My son feels loved and valued there, so I cannot ask for anything more!
YMCA provides great service, and my daughter loves being able to spend more time with friends at school. She loves the staff and often is mad if I pick her up "too" early!
The staff is amazing & so good with my child and making her feel comfortable being this is her first year with them.

I appreciate how much my daughter enjoys it, to the point of her asking to be picked up later. The staff are incredibly friendly and it is great to have it available at the school that my daughter attends.
The staff is always so friendly and professional and the after school service is very convenient for working parents that often have to commute during rush hour. My son loves the teachers and is always happy when I pick him up

I feel the majority of the teachers are excellent teachers. The classes that I have experienced follow the class description. I appreciate this because it provides a comfort level for me if I do recommend the Y to friends.
