I’ve been a member of the Chapel Hill Carrboro Y since 2013 when I moved to Chapel Hill from Sarasota, Florida, where I was also a member of the YMCA and prior to that New Jersey where again I was a member of the Y so I’ve been a Y member for over 30 years.
my experience has always been a good one. My kids participated in sports and summer camps at the Chapel Hill Carrboro YMCA. All in all it’s been a great experience from my kids participation to Group workout, Summers at the Meadowmont pool in fact a couple of summers when my kids were young we visited different wide pools, which is a great experience due to this membership.
I very much appreciate the way the pool is maintained and managed at Meadowmont.
The water temperature is so refreshing.

Indoor heated pool with lots of kids swim lessons options
Great YMCA, my only minor complaint is it is a bit crowded and I wish the facility was bigger but I understand that is unrealistic.
