We love the Family Friendly & Christian environment. We love the people that work there. When we entrust people with our children we expect them to want to be around Children and we can see their passion for growing healthy children with their dedication and smiles.
My children had a great time, I was glad to hear about the range of activities especially that were physically active, games and that facilitated social interaction. They also appreciated the creative activities and general routine.
My 7 year old is enjoying the summer camp. I’ve noticed the CIT’s and the other leaders are engaging and actually play with the kids! Seems structured so the kids don’t have time to sit around and get bored. My child has come home telling me he enjoyed the culinary classes. I am going to sign up for another week or two. We had initially only signed up for three weeks to make sure he was going to like it.
There are always fun activities to keep the kids engaged.
Courteous, friendly people
Friendly staff, clean environment, great programming for my children.
I love the hot tub, lazy river, etc. I also love the friendliness of all the staff.
One day I came to Silverdale YMCA and had to get into the hot tub, lazy river, and the deep end to relieve my sciatica nerve pain and it was heaven sent. I stayed for 3 hours doing these 3 things and they helped my sciatica nerve pain feel better.
Love the Silverdale YMCA!!!!!!!
The yoga and Castor‘s kickboxing class
I enjoy walking the track and using a few of the machines. T YMCA gives me a variety and opportunity to be in a warm atmosphere other than the Vintage where I live.
Everyone is very helpful and friendly.
Thank you, Maddy
The variety and friendliness of staff
Please add more fans to the Saturday 9am Zumba class in the gym. It’s so hot in there. Also Angela is the best! Love her attitude and welcoming spirit.
Cleanliness and friendliness. But please change up the Monday through Thursday evening classes in room one as they are only Mailo and Heidi over and over again. Please add Castor’s class back to Tuesday or Thursday member should be offered a variety and not the same old thing
Friendly staff
I love the Haselwood Y because it's family oriented!
I love the staff and Aiden was thrilled!
Convenience and cost. My kid has a great time.
New friends, new activities
All of the staff have been very friendly and engaging. This camp was my daughter’s first time being in a camp setting and the staff have made her feel so comfortable and welcomed. The camp operation seems to be very well organized and efficiently run. I would definitely recommend the day camp!
My kids love it!
Thank you so much we will be back
That my kids are well taken care of, and every day they come home saying they have had the best day ever.
The amount of machines
Clean, friendly, lots of classes. It is just a pleasure to be at.
Facility is great and staff is excellent...
Great facility, one of the best choices we made as a family. Would LOVE to see youth soccer, even non league, just for fun workshops.
And this might be sort of off the wall, but LEGO workshops, small builds and things like that. LEGO is so engaging and appeals to all genders. I bet even adults would like that.
This is a great facility! It offers everything you want in a gym. Love that it has many activities for children and families. It's clean and the staff are very friendly and competent.
I have been going to YMCA’s my whole life. As a child it was a safe haven after my parents divorced and I became a latch key kid. I learned to swim there and took dance classes. I sold toffee peanuts (sponsored by the Y) door to door in the 70’s to earn money to go to Y summer camps!
In college I worked for the Y as a camp counselor in the summer’s and a site bus driver during the school year. I enjoyed my complimentary membership and I continued swimming and working out.
Now, in my late 50’s I enjoy gentle yoga, swimming, walking and my spa days soaking in the hot tub, sauna and steam room.
The YMCA has always felt like family to me and I feel safe and comfortable here. I love the values, the diversity of people and ages, the wide selection of classes, the support for children and families, the whole atmosphere! All of these things are why I will always be a lifelong member of the YMCA.

Love the Haselwood gym. It’s my favorite Y in the Seattle area. It feels like going to church. Everyone is happy to be there, tons of clean equipment, huge pool, a sauna, nice teachers, groups of seniors socialize there, and the camps/daycare for kids are well attended.
It’s clean, and I usually go around 9:30am, M, W, and F, and it’s easy to get to the machines I need. Staff is always very welcoming!

The facility is very clean and staff are quite friendly. The people teaching the courses we've taken have all been kind and professional. We love taking art classes with Maria. The quality of work she can get from the kids is so impressive. The swim lesson instructors are phenomenal. Both of my children made such amazing progress in the summer sessions. One went from no experience at all to putting her face fully in the water and trying every new skill. That is all thanks to Elli. She is the *most* patient swim instructor I could have hoped for. She has the perfect temperament for that age group. Give her all the gold stars!
