The front desk team is always friendly and welcoming to everyone. There are enough strength training machines that I rarely have to wait. It's convenient to where I live. I like watching downtown and the bustle of the city as I walk and work out.

I love the pool which is what I use my membership for. One thing you could do is not charge for the one and only lap swimmer opportunity with Coach Art. There are many fitness classes in many disciplines available to members and included in their membership such as biking, weight, aquatic cardio mix, aquatic arthritis classes, etc. Why would the lap swim workout not count as a fitness class? Other than that, I find the pool to be a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cleaning team, lifeguards, front desk people, and all workers I come into contact with are friendly, welcoming, kind, and committed. Thank you!
MY YMCA is staffed with great people who care about their members. They keep it clean, bright and well maintained. Membership is a true cross section of Grand Rapids. It is a place of harmony.

I like how I, no matter who I am, discover the health of my countenance every time I step through the door and am greeted by Rodney. I carry that fellow feeling up the stairs to the weight stations, the track, the basketball courts. And when I'm walking back home across the blue bridge, I like how the river slows to my happy pace.
1. Racquetball / court scheduling on line is a great feature!
2. Staff is always upbeat, friendly and engaging! Makes a person feel welcome and happy to be there.
3. staff is repeatedly walking the site to be aware of conditions i.e. cleanliness, safety, security and proper equipment usage. All beneficial aspects.
I love the Y! The track at this location is amazing and there are many options to chose from as well as a lot of services. I love the family pool (so do my kids!). It can be a bit busy, but the facility itself is amazing. I love the tub, steam, and sauna in the locker room.
Great front desk staff. Good facilities. Pool seems to be less chlorinated than past.

Staff is very friendly and the facility is very clean
Nice facility. The man at the front desk is so nice and makes the entering experience a joy! They ask me and my 3 small granddaughters to leave the lockerroom as we were in the "womens" and not the "girls" which was inconvenient and annoying. All females in the female lockerroom, just too small. Didn't seem warranted or a good customer experience on that end.
