I love the amenities, the facility, and available classes. I hate the parking and lack of equipment (no reformers for pilates classes even if those classes cost extra, one leg press machine, etc). Still love the place

I love the downtown YMCA... I love the new remodle and enjoy coming there with my kids and grand children. Rodney and the team make out a great place to visit

+ Remodeled areas are a good improvement

- Please reduce the high water pressure in the men's showers. Flow restrictors would save water and reduce water/sewer charges
- Please reinstall the water hose in the men's steam room so the sitting areas can be flushed.

What do you like about your David D. Hunting YMCA experience?

The pools and the aquatic classes offered are wonderful. However, the limited free parking is not a positive for this YMCA.

If you are attending multiple classes and need to shower you will be paying when you exit! It may not seem like much but if you are paying extra three to four days a week it adds up. I hope they extend the parking time in the future.

What do you like about your David D. Hunting YMCA - Programs experience?

The staff is amazing! I love that food is provided, there are so many fun activities, plenty of swim time, and exciting weekly field trips. My son has been attending the YMCA since he was 3 years old, and he looks forward to going back every year. He always comes home talking about how much fun he had and all the friends he made.

Our favorite is Ms. Megan at the SpartanNash location. She is very communicative and wonderful with the kids. My son looks forward to seeing her every summer!

What do you like about your David D. Hunting YMCA - Programs experience?

For my toddler, the dance class is the perfect time commitment both in length of each class and how many are offered. I like that parking is validated, which takes off another layer of stress. It’s more affordable than other dance classes with less pressure. I like that I don’t have to be a gym member to access classes. Staff have all been so friendly and helpful.
