What do you like about your David D. Hunting YMCA experience?

The facility is top notch. The staff are friendly.

Yet I do believe the pool slide is hardly ever available. There are too many people using their phones in the locker room. And the free coffee could be higher quality. : ) But other than that, fantastic.

I love the huge windows! When I walk on the track it is so nice to be able to see outside. I also enjoy the fitness classes.

Nice folks. Desk staff especially. Locker room is big and lockers are big and have a shelf in them. Track is great with terrific views.

The Y is clean. It has every possible work-out "machine" or weight possible. People are friendly and helpful (staff and members).

We love all the amenities, classes, and price! Our kids are excited every time we can visit the pool, and we can always rely on a great variety of equipment when it's time for the adults to exercise.

We'd love to see more of the family pool extras in working order... in our year of membership we haven't seen the slide in use, and maybe just a handful of times the lazy river area has been open.

The men"s bathrooms and locker room need more cleaning. The cleaners don't have mops. they moped the floor with towels and their feet. The locker rooms need to be cleaned and fumigated. since I've come across insects.

I frequently see people entering without being members or having a credential that proves they have membership . they take advantage of entering when the front desk staff are busy serving other people .

I especially appreciate that the Hunting Ymca is open reasonable hours. The current hours at least approximate the pre-COVID hours (though open to 10 pm as before would be better). I reviewed the Visser and Spartan Nash YMCAs poorly due to their very limited hours.

Overall, I really enjoy this location. The first time we visited we couldn’t find the family locker room and a woman in the women’s locker room was very rude to me when I told her we were lost. I’m a widow with a nonverbal ASD 6 year old so I didn’t have many options for what to do and she couldn’t seem to get over herself to help me, only made rude remarks about how “inappropriate” I was being. I feel like better signage could’ve helped in this situation. Thank you

The staff is helpful and friendly. The weight equipment is always maintained and facility is clean. Also the hours are convenient. Great place to be a member and have been for many years!
