It's clean, there are a number of different machines available, and the KidZone is Easy/Feels safe!
I love the inclusivity and the universal design/focus at the Mary Free Bed YMCA. I also enjoy the programs for kids and seniors.
One concern that I have recently is that now that the new machines are in the area where the rock climbing wall used to be, the "stretching/strength area" near the group fitness rooms is over crowded. At times, there are so many people in that are trying to do a variety of activities that it feels a bit difficult to move around and I have seen people bump into each other trying to do the movements needed for their workout. Is there a plan to create another area somewhere on the fitness center floor to accommodate overflow for busy times of the day? That would help create a safer environment for the variety of activities that take place in that area.

The facility is extraordinary and offers so much. There are so many programs for anyone to participate in. The staff members are very helpful and enthusiastic about caring for everyone.
I have great friendships and many great classes taught by very good instructors. It has great equipment and lots of space.
I feel that the shower curtains need to be bigger and on metal clips since the others have been falling off. I am always fixing them when I go to take a shower. Can we get curtains that actually fit the space. They are way way too short and it doesn't make sense. I am getting my clothes wet sometimes because the curtain doesn't cover the space.
Also need fans in the spin room. Suddenly there is 1-2 fans not working as well as the air in the room. Not great timing
This facility has something for everyone. I especially love the water aerobic classes. The instructors are fabulous! There are various machines for all levels and instructors on main floor to guide you. I have been a member for many years and have also made lasting friendships.
It’s a great place to be! Love being surrounded by people who have the same goals! Be healthy!
The space to workout is massive. It feels as though you are working out by yourself if you want to

Really enjoying the new Egym system. Would love to see some additional stations added.
Would be great to have some of the Trainers provide tips on best “form” that should be used on each station.
