On the phone, I was told the cost would be about $168 plus extra for pet treatment. When the technician arrived he said the charge would be $353! He said that was for the pet treatment, walk in closet and area outside closet. I expected to pay about $100 more, not $185 more. The technician was not able to clearly tell me why I was paying so much more. He said I should be glad he was only charging me for one staircase because in his opinion I had two staircases because the stairs are separated by about 8'. I have 8 steps, then a right turn of 3', then a right turn of 5', then 6 more steps and a landing. I said the price of the staircase was included in the $168. He said he knew that and was just telling me what a good deal he was giving me not to charge me extra for the second set of stairs.
Despite the coronavirus risks I thought it would be safe to have my carpets cleaned because the zerorez web page says your technicians are trained to follow social distancing, hand washing, and wearing gloves and booties. The technician came into my house without gloves on, he closed all of the blinds and curtains and turned off all the lights in each room as well as touching all the stair railings to use his blue light. He only put gloves on when he started doing the cleaning. When I tried to keep my distance from him, he kept coming near me. I asked him to stay away, but his idea of staying away and mine were very different. I was required to sign my name on his phone several times, he did not wash his hands or wipe his phone with a disinfecting wipe. He said he could tell by looking at us that we were not sick so he was okay with everything.
The technician did not seem very proficient at driving. He had to turn his truck around in our driveway. I don't understand why he didn't just back into our driveway in the first place. He had a really hard time turning and was going all over the place, almost hitting the fence, then the flower bed, then the lawn. He just didn't know what he was doing. I suggested he might need some driving lessons. He accused me of being hostile, told me he didn't have to work in a hostile environment and if I couldn't get along he would leave.
I watched them the whole time. They did not do the pet treatment.
I don't want any "store credit" or savings towards my next cleaning because I will never hire Zerorez again. I think you should fire this technician, I don't even know his name because he never introduced himself, or at least he needs a lot more training. He had a helper/trainee with him who never spoke to us and kept his distance. The trainee also did not wear gloves until they started doing the cleaning.
Thank you so much for a job well done. The technician was very knowledgeable and got my boyfriends carpet so much cleaner than it was before and it has soap residue and dog odor in it. Very impressed. Can’t wait to have you guys come and do my sectional in a few months. Thank you again.

Zerorez has been our go-to cleaning service for a couple of years now. No matter what technician comes out to our home they are always extremely professional, thorough in their work, and very helpful and knowledgeable in all products and services offered by the company. I wasnt there for my carpets being cleaned. We had them do the carpets before we moved in to our new home. Should leave a card or something bc I couldnt even tell they were cleaned. Has had a weird musty smell. Its finally smelling better.

I know that you are trying to sell other products when you come to clean our carpets. We always get a new person to clean our carpets and it depends on their work ethic and listening to what a customer wants. I told my cleaner that I wanted him to focus on certain areas and I feel he wasn'r really listening to me. Not all, but most cleaners want to explain to me what is going on with my carpet when I already knowl. I have three dogs!
He was also done within 30 minutes. Is that a normal time to finish? I was a little suprised.
In all I do like your company and I will continue to hire you. Just listen to wha tthe customer wants.
