Service is excellent!
I am not a realtor, I am an appraiser. For many years we paid for affiliate memberships at a lower fee. That made sense, because we do not benefit from many of the programs of Mainstreet, nor is Mainstreet really concerned with appraiser's issues. For us, it appeared as nothing more than a way to increase monies coming into the organization. The only real service the association provides appraisers is access to the MLSNI and for that we pay dearly.
Someone there always to answer your questions!

Try to keep costs as low as possible
Everyone u talk to is always so helpful, friendly, pleasant and makes sure they answer your questions.
1. We cannot complete ALL offered forms on line. Type doesn't fit...doesn't autopopulate etc.
2. Changes made to contracts and forms without having input.
3. Changes made to contracts and forms without being notified!!
4. Changes made to contract and forms...without being notified of just WHAT those changes are...both Additions and Deletions. Still don't know!!
5. You make it necessary for us to compare the new forms to the old forms to find the changes/deletions/replacements ourselves. Why don't we have a 1 page instructional sheet pointing this out??
6. PLN...not needed! Only use is detrimental to spirit of cooperation!
7. PLN....Rules state that you must need and actual listing agreement to input into PLN...BUT...if that is so...then that listing agreement would have a price....or it wouldn't be a valid listing agreement. However...PLN listing go in everyday without prices and without photos.
8. A PLN listing (if not eliminated) should have the same rules and timeframes as a regular listing!
9. If PLN is eliminated,...then policies must be in place for Office Exclusive listings.
10. Offices will come up with ways to bypass rules and abuse systems so as to take advantage for their own gain or their offices gain. NOT what an mls is designed to do...to be fair.
Mainstreet is NOT helping us...only taking our money.

Association keeps agents well informed of important legal changes as well as legislation being considered and/or when agent input is needed for/against certain proposed legislation.
Readily available to assist in real estate related issues. Staff is Able to direct you to proper resources. Easy to reach via phone and sometimes that can make ALL the difference!
